  Horses For A Change
Horses for a Change is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization that operates at Frog Hollow Farm.

We are an equine facilitated riding program that uses horseback riding and horse care to develop life skills

for students of all ages,  abilities and financial means.

Clinical research suggests that therapeutic riding can help treat learning disabilities, depression, add/hd, autism, brain injury, and substance abuse.

  • Learning to ride and to care for horses fosters independence, inspires trust, and enhances cooperation and self-control.
  • Forming a relationship with a horse leads to increased confidence and self-esteem.
  • Riding improves balance and coordination and can help develop communication skills, insight and judgment.
  • Clients take pride in mastering new skills while enjoying a special bond with a non-judgmental animal.

Skills gained can translate to other areas of life such as home, school and work.
